Another 67 FB

Went to fill up today and parked right next to the pumps is another 67 fastback - in very nice condition. I may have seen this one driving around town, but I'm not sure. Of course I stopped to take a picture, although mine is shabby looking by comparison!

It's for sale, and I hope he gets every penny of the 60k asking price...Click image for larger version

Nice, it looks a little like mine. Black with those ghost stripes, even the same hood scoop and those we're the rims I originally wanted to buy. Lol. Always awesome to see 2 beautiful fastbacks in the same place!

It was beautiful! Hard to tell in the pictures, but up close it was a very dark gray. Mine has a 50 ft paint job, but this thing was immaculate!

Nice! Are you planning some body work in the future on yours? And if so, what colour scheme?

Yes, eventually. My plan is to go from inside out - get the drivetrain sorted, then figure if I want to strip it down and have it blasted or not. Not sure about keeping the Shelby scoops someone put on there. I don't hate the concept, but I might change them. I do love the look of the 67 Shelby style hoods, so that might happen. (Of course I'd keep the original GT hood!)

I'm thinking of a very dark blue, maybe an original nightmist or modern DIB with medium grey GT stripes. It's actually a GTA, so badging to match. But all of that is a long way of - both chronologically and financially

Yup, dark blue would look great! I almost bought a 66FB dark blue right before my 67. It's nice and an original colour. Don't see that colour often.
