I would get the 13 with a warranty then no worries about anything that happens while you are in school. Keep an eye out for a good classic while in school if you can afford it then snap it up if not then hold off till one comes your way.

Alright i sure will get one! Plus i don't want to put many miles on a car that couldve been saved in a garage being worked on by somebody else.

Get a 93 Celica - great gas mileage, cheap parts, cheap insurance and you won't give a crap if anyone dings it

In all seriousness, like everyone said the 13 is the way to go between the two options - no headaches.

Right? Do me a favor OP, take care of that car. Don't be one of those punks that mistreats a car because you don't understand the value. Hopefully you are earning some portion of it on your own.

Definitely newer! No time to work on Classic in college , but like Evan said would be better to have a not quite so nice ride on campus. I have one in college and another going later this year, let's just say the body shop guy and I are on first name basis, LOL! Good luck with whatever you,decide...

Good luck finding a 93' celica that runs, LOL those were tough lil rides tho! That was my wife's dream car when she was in school, I've tried to find her one that didn't need a total rebuild, she's happy with the mini coop now tho. Maybe I'll surprise her with one for a retirement gift, hahaha

Another good idea is don't buy two classics while you're still in high school/college...
I did and my cash flow is basically going to them...

You have a decent mustang bro why upgrade ? Why not just wait after high school than purchase a newer mustang. I myself am 18 was also debating to get a 2014 GT but in all honesty we young people tend to make bad decisions. After all most kids wish they even had a mustang or better yet a GT.... I'm keeping my GT for a bit longer. My buddy purchased a 2015 v6 and is stuck paying it for 7 years within those years I'm sure he will def regret it and want a 5.0 or newer stang. Also some girl I know purchased her second v6 mustang and now wants a shelby... Who knows you can invest your money into something that'll make you profit lol. That's just my opinion, I also want a newer mustang but I'm more than willing to wait longer.

Back in the 60's when I was in school, all I could afford was the old cars, but they were cheep then. Not like now.
