Coolant accumulates at the base of my distributor after each time I run it. It is not a major leak but it did leak enough to form a small puddle on the floor after sitting for 6 months. The engine was recently rebuilt with all gaskets replaced. Not sure what I need to do to fix?
I'd clean everything up and let it idle and get up to temp, then see where it's seeping from. Could be coming from your temp sensor, thermostat housing or heater connection - pretty much any of the threaded spots on the front/top of the intake. With a little luck, some Teflon tape or gasket (if it's the tstat housing) will fix it.
Be sure before you pull stuff off. It sucks replacing stuff that doesn't need it!
