Side by side

Finally the season has started here in Montreal! I got a chance to sit in this beautiful 50th anniversary 2015 GT mustang....what a stunning vehicle!! And then we decided to do a side by side....old and new. Enjoy Click image for larger version

I am liking the Old better then the new in this case. Not really liking the 2015's

Anything compared to a classic is going to lose in terms of looks. They are just so much more beautiful than the other gen mustangs.

I can't make myself like the 2015s either...the proportions of the front end just look off to me, though it's hard for me to put my finger on something specific.

I'm obviously partial to the 67/68 FB, no question there if we are doing a comparison.

I like the new 15s. I think Ford did a good job at keeping the old school highlights while making it look fresh. I saw a dark blue 15 Roush the other day that looked absolutely sinister!

I'm also wondering how reliable the IRS on the new cars will be, given Ford's penchant for cost cutting at the expense of build quality.

that is a cool pic. I too am not a fan of the 2015 so much all though acceptance is growing on me. Regardless it is a cool pic to have them side by side. My girlfriend has a 66. keep wanting to do a combo photo shoot with my 2013 as well
