Love the 67-70 coupes. They don't get enough love, too many ppl go nuts over a fastback but I think a well done coupe with fat tires out back looks better.

Looks like the project is moving.......I've restored a number of early Mustangs and not one has been a fastback. I was lucky enough to have a friend who owned a Mustang only shop........this was a wrecked real deal GT/Hi Pro.......back in 1978
Was lucky because back then you could buy OE body panels and parts...complete front end cost $1400.

It was stalled for awhile but now I need to get it going so I figured I would let the pros do the big job and I will tackle the rest.

Will you have this done for the 2016 American Muscle Car Show? Like your color combination. I was parked next to you at the last Car Show.

Off to the body shop

Much quicker than my Dodge's restoration. Pretty sweet coupe by the way! 👍

I started off thinking my 67 would be a 5-10 year project....then I took a job overseas for at least 2 yrs, maybe up to 5...now I'm just hoping driving is still allowed by the time I'm done

You will be grandfathered in to driving I am sure. This is the worst part of it so this will be good to get done. After this I can work on it for a few hours at a time and move along. The floor pans are the next and last big parts. Then it is stripping the paint fixing little rust holes and getting the old under coat off.

Well I am off to the land of fruits and nuts for a few weeks. Good thing company pays for everything from time I leave my house till I get back. Bad thing I am not at home.

Have fun in California.......at least the weather looks to be sunny and warm for the rest of this week.
I used to travel for work......just glad to be in one spot and not have to worry about airports/rental cars/hotels and traffic...........being retired certainly has it's advantages. Have a safe week.
