Help with a 68

Hello all, it has been a while. I'm trying to figure out some parts while being away from my car. I'm lowered too much and need some adjustable lower arms but don't want to drop 750$ for a pair. so my plan is to cut off the busing and weld in a square insert tube and then use a rod end to attach it back to the car. But with that, I don't know the size of the lower control arm. can anyone measure the inside diameter I'm flying home in a couple weeks to get the car back up and running so it be nice to be to knock this out when I'm home thanks!!
