Re: 1970 mach 1 T-5 from Germany

This is not a t-5 transmission I'm talking about. It is a whole car called a T-5 they couldn't put mustang on them. The Germans already had that name patented, so they named them after the assembly line they were made on which is T-5. This car was sold to a service men over in Germany. He had it shipped back to Macdill Airforce base. Then they stopped allowing theme to bring them back to the U.S. We believe it is the only 70 T-5 in the states, does anyone know diff. Would like any info. on this car that I can get. Thanks Tonia

Re: 1970 mach 1 T-5 from Germany

They did make A T-5 in 1970. They didn't make many of them. So they are kinda rare. But as far as being worth a whole lot. If its a real mach1. which i don't believe any of the T-5's were its only worth about 10,000 if its in good shape. Because the T-5's weren't legal in the US the car wasn't and isn't worth as much as the normal mustangs. If you've got any more questions about them you can ask. i'll let you know anything i know

that still is a cool car to have....a car that was specially built to go overseas and it made it back to the US (even though it was transported for free) and is still around today. Very nice
