However, you take the amount of money/time/effort and dump it into a cobra, now that's a whole different story...
id buy a 370z. it is a fantastic car. of course i might be biased, cause i work for Nissan.

i tell chevy BRING IT, with Obama as your damn leader lets see who the performance leader is before too long (since he keeps firing the top guys). Before too long he is going to force chevy and dodge to scrap anything that isnt purpose built for working, or family hauling, and forced to have 30mpg or better. So this Chevy vs. Ford argument is useless. BUT the camero is still ugly as sin.

Sounds serious to me...because the messaih has already stuck his nose in their business and I can fully see him using GM as his way to get more hybrid turds built and forcing them to kill off anything that is considered performance....as we all know performance = not eco friendly. Gotta be green everybody...

The Dodge Stealth is basically an Import. Check out the motor, and look at the Mitsubishi 3000GT, its the same car.

I'd take the 09 CTS over a Ford Fusion/Merc Milan anyday.

The 3.6 DI from the CTS is the same engine in the camaro, just tweaked and geared differently...and its not a bad performance platform.
1. You should really look into the differences in quality when compared mono-e-mono. Ford is a Quality Top Notch built truck. All will have their problems but Ford Trucks are hauses.

2. CTS to Fusion/Milan? Are you serious... completely different vehicle class The Fusion/Milan was not designed to compete with the CTS

1. I'm sure they are nice "quality" "top notch" trucks, but I'm just saying I'd buy a chevy/gmc over a ford truck. I like the engines and Allison trannys.

2. I test drove a Milan and an MKZ. They were the two nicest vehicles ford had on the lot closest to the CTS. V6, AWD Midsize plaftorm sedan.
The MKZ is in the same class as the CTS.
They were nice cars, but i didn't like them as much.

Agreed, the malibu may be the better choice as far as class comparison regarding the milan/fusion. But those are the two closest vehicles to a CTS that mercury and ford offer.
A town car/grand marquis are not close.

This is in terms of comparing the alternatives to a CTS. Other luxury V6 AWD cars.

#1 will always be a matter of opinion (although I will always attempt to swing you to the blue)

Now, the MKZ is supposed to be competition for the CTS but I agree that the CTS is well better developed (Although Caddy is more than Mercury)

I have to disagree. I think what the media is predicting or the public fear is actually a far fetched idea. I don't see it going that far. We have yet to find a source of energy that does not have an detrimental effect on the earth, including "hybrid/batteries."

The Recorder

I guess we will just have to wait it out and see...

I will honestly say that I am slightly biased towards the CTS since I have one, but the car's appearance is aggressive, and the options
And for a 4,000lb car, it performs well.
