eh, not really a fan of the 05 bodystyles, i prefer the 99-04's better. so i guess the pony package is okay. it doesnt come with as much as ours as far as exterior. 03-04's come with chrome rims, hood scoop, vinly bumper inserts, and some come with the running pony vinly sticker on the side (glad mine didnt come with this) as well as one or two interior upgrades; whereas these only come with a side stirp, gt rims, and dressed up grill.

but i prefer the v6 grille now vs the pony package grill

new stangs look like family cars. 94-04's were awesome. whyd they have to mess up a great thing. these new ones just dont seem to have any kind of bite. they just dont look durable and fast. they dont do it for me unfortunately.

i say that but i kno i would buy one in a second if the money was right. im just pissed i got a v6.

they are a different breed. it takes some to get used to. i used to hate the 05 body but after seeing what can be done in the looks department i got hooked and now like them about as much as a 94-98, but still not as much as a 99-04. the 99-04 are very agressive looking, the 94-98's are more laid back but curvy like a sleek woman laying on a bed waiting for the cack. the 05's are like fords way of saying "we have no new ideas, so well bring back a old one and see what happens". and if you saw concept photos of them using the 99-04 look but more futuristic, you would like the 05's retro look alot better.

if i had 30g's to spend on a brand new RWD V8 that i COULD NOT MOD, it would be a 05. pepper silver with black racing stripes(aka eleanor status).

Well, Ford had to do something with the V6 in order to sell more units. When the 05's first hit the showrooms, they thought the ratio of V6 sales to V8 (GT) sales would be something like 65/35 or even 75/25, but everybody that's interested in an 05 wants a GT, and the market demand has been exactly the opposite of what they thought. That's they're hard to find in some parts of the country, and why most dealers have a second stick of upwards to $5K on a GT.

I like the looks of the 05 exterior (although I like the 99-04's better), but the interior lacks. Even though it's supposed to be bigger than the 99-04's, it feels smaller when you sit in the car.

I think it looks good, are there going to be any changes in the 06 GT? On the colors, I think the blue is ok, the green not too bad, I wouldn't buy either, but some people will like them. They are close to remake colors of some of the original or first 5 or 6 years of Mustangs.

Well, I liked the Sonic Blue, that is not a radical color change, but I think I might still like the old Sonic better, oh well. That gray is ok, I am really not a fan of silver or gray on mustangs though, lol.

those fog lights look alot better than the gt fogs, but i would still rock the normal v6 grille over the other two.

I would have to agree. The exterior is bland from the factory, but it does have potential to be great from the aftermarket support that is already out there.
