Kinda neat swap

Hmm I an not one to advocate pulling a Ford engine form a Ford truck but this is nice FordCummins.com and the best is this pic http://fordcummins.com/DSCN0361.JPG I might like to try this on a few years and see how its goes.

nope hence the Ford truck I highly doubt a mustang could handle the torque produced by a cummins or a power stroke without serious bracing or a prostock chassis.

i dont think there is enough tire to get traction to even put stress on the chassis, unless, like you said, it was a full blown racecar, tubbed and chubbed. it would just light them up though 4th if anything with anything other than some huge 11" slicks.

there are diesel drag cars belive it or not but they do make alot of smoke and not just from the tires I thikn it would be nice to swap a cummins in my Bronco
