Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

Quote:
The cat, errr, bull is out of the bag, with both images and the press release about the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera circulating the web. The 'purist' Gallardo gets an extra 10 hp and 154 fewer pounds (in U.S. trim), allowing the Italian hyper car to sprint to 60 in 3.8 seconds, .2 seconds less than the standard Gallardo. The weight reduction comes from swapping out a number of components with carbon fiber bits, including the wing mirrors, door panels, engine cover and the central tunnel's covering. After the diet, the Superleggera tips the scales at just 3,152 pounds -- 5.5 pounds/hp.

Said it once and I'll say it again, **** ferrari. Any company that "invites" you to buy a car and only "allows" certain people to buy it, are just too dam rich. I'll take an LP640 over an Enzo ANYDAY.

Re: Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

Speaking of winning the lottery(off topic), ever watch that show "I shouldn't be alive"? We watched one today that had some boyscouts lost in the Grand Canyon, and just so happened to run into some kayakers at one point on the river after they had gone a day or so without water. Turns out the Kayakers were off duty Doctors and EMT's. Tell me those guys don't need to buy a lottery ticket.

Oh, that car is the hawtness.

I have to say it was called for(my apology). I didn't want you to think I was vearing(like I am now ) from the thread topic to attack your opinions. What you said made my ADHD controlled mind spin off to another topic. Your opinion may have sparked my thought, but the thought/post wasn't intentionally aimed at you.

BTT.

I dunno if I could drive those, driving normal cars for me already makes me feel like my butt is draggin, I can't imagine something that low.

Thats probably because you don't ever deserve one.

BTW that "Ok" responce made me laugh.

As far as the car goes, I would rather have a Whippled Cobra.

Re: Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

I prefer lambos over ferraris. I just think Lambos have a much more aggressive look to them.

I'd take a Ford GT over any car any day tho.

Re: Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

I'd take the GT for the legacy, power, and how unique it is.

I'm in Beverly Hills every week and the one car I rarely see are Ford GT's. Everyone there has a Ferrari, Lambo, or Porsche (Yes even the carreras arent a big deal because I see them more often than a GT)

Re: Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

Only reason I'd get the Ford GT, is if I wasn't loaded to the brim(well I'd have to be to get a GT anyway), because it's still a Ford and I know how to work on them. Sides it's nothing but a 5.4 modular with a lil something on top and some halfshafts. Nowhere near as complicated as the lambo or ferrari. Oh, and me changing the oil on the GT wouldn't void the warranty like Ferrari or Lambo. Ford knows that it's owners half to know how to work on a Ford to own one

Whats wrong with a built mod motor. I guarrentee you that that car is able to produce and supported a lot more power than any Ferrari or Lamborghini. Also GT is plenty complex for me. Ferrari's and Lamborghini's are for people with small dicks, GT's are for people with big balls... and small dicks.

Oh, oops, I meant to hint in a bit of sarcasm. I meant just, like downplaying it, but knowing its something very capable of making ever more hp. Sorry about the mixup.
