I just wanted to share this video. Even if you are not a member of AT&T...

I hate to be that person that is all motherly to everyone but I think this is a serious situation. I don't think people realize how one split second can change your life.

I have been guilty myself and have had close calls. I won't do it anymore and am totally against it.

I agree 100 percent!!!!! I hope by the time my 4 year old daughter is old enough to drive, they come up with a device that jams all cell phones and other devices in the car. Preach on momma!!!!

Re: Texting and Driving

i'll admit i'm guilty of it when i know its an important text i'll pick up the phone. and i try to make sure its at red lights or stop signs or at least when there is no one else around me on the road. but regardless, its a horrible habit that i need to quit.

It will happen. They are already making walls block WIFI signals so that it cannot be stolen in parking lots or in different areas, ect. ect.

Re: Texting and Driving

I text and drive. The people that crash the car are the ones that look away for 30 seconds while they type the full message out.

I can't with my iPhone. I almost hit a dump truck once and it scared the **** out of me. It was only a few seconds.

They do, only not for vehicles, but all you have to do is get the cell jammer, splice the wires (like hooking up a sound system in your trunk) and put it in your trunk. Only I would hook it up to the kill wires that shut off certain components on the car when you get involved in an accident, this way you can call for help (if your not out cold). Do this secretly when your daughter is in your/her car and she will never know why her cell phone doesn't work and since she will not know that it's in the trunk, can't turn the blocker off!

Not only is it dangerous, but in many states it's illegal. I know in Louisiana it's a $175 fine for your first offense.
