The G/F Might trade her GT for a V6 Convertible.

Shelbie wants to trade for a convertible. She had so much fun in my new one, that she wants one to drive now, so tomorrow we are headed down to KC to look at a silver 40th Anny Vert. Personally, since she can't really drive for *****, I would rather see her in a V6 anyway, but the convertible part has me a little worried. I guess it's her car and she can do what she wants. What do you guys think?

I'll be waiting for your Money Order then. A cashiers check will work as well. I don't have paypal, so don't ask about that.

Wasn't sure if it was just me. When my wife was knocked up, she turned into a freak. Never look at a pregnant woman the same way. P.S. I'm gonna get **** for this post tomorrow. Lol

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about.
But what do you think, should she trade her car? The guy sent one pic, and it looked nice, silver with a black top. Just over 100K I think. I don't know ***** about the V6 engine, and I'm not sure if it has the 3.8 or the 3.9, but I was looking into it and most likely it has the 3.9. Hell, I didn't even know there was a 3.9 until like a month ago!

I would hold off. Get her a gt vert auto and just cruise. Couple mods and make it look good. I personally never would own a 6. I mean I always wondered what the difference was in a 4cyl fox and an escort other than fwd.lol

Re: The G/F Might trade her GT for a V6 Convertible.

Cool, I'll wait for the morning responders as well. Sometimes I just regret getting her the GT. She's already one, backed into the fence, and two, backed into my vert. She just can't drive for ****. I'm pretty sure she's going to crash whatever she drives, so do I want to see a GT get smashed, or a sixxer?

Re: The G/F Might trade her GT for a V6 Convertible.

I know, If I had my way, I would just buy her a beater to learn how to ****ing drive and let her crash that, but funds wont allow. I had to give up the Contour when I got the vert so my bro in law would have something to drive. Oh well, live and learn I guess. I can't really teach her how to "drive" until the weather gets better, but I think a sixxer would be safer for her, and my son, for that matter. She never drives on the highway, so any crash she gets into would be minor, as she drives around town only. Max speed limit on main roads is like 40 or so.

Re: The G/F Might trade her GT for a V6 Convertible.

No way in hell my kid would ride in a vert on a daily basis even if my girl wanted one and it was her car to trade in.Not gonna happen, not in a million years.Sorry to be blunt but when you become a parent your whole mindset changes and Im sure you know this.I surprized that she wants a vert for her DD.

Anywho, didn't end up trading, but thanks for all the responses. She's going to keep the GT for now, and see if anything else comes up in the future!
