Not official wash thread.

Alright I know there is a wash thread already. Anyways. Ordered the croftgate waterless car wash system and used it about 3 weeks ago. I don't recommend it if you don't have a lot of time. Too much work for me. Like waxing it 3 times.
I also ordered the quick n slick Protectant and damn!!! 3 weeks since I washed it and I never had water jump off that car like that. I've got very hard water here so black paint is a mortal enemy. Just washed it normally with water and car wash. Dried it as usual. No water spots at all. Could not believe it. I recommend quick n slick Protectant to all. Easy as can be to use and definitely recommend.

Dude. I got almost a full gallon of the waterless wash stuff. I don't think im gonna use it. If the quick n slick stuff stays doing it's job like this, I don't mind using water.

The waterless car wash is a lot of work but it works and seems safe. Quick n slick is some good stuff though.

Re: Not official wash thread.

I've never used these types of products. I've always been curious to how they worked and if they actually did. Might try it out one day soon. (to wash a car)

Re: Not official wash thread.

That is all I use is the quick detailer stuff on most of my garage queen cars this way I dont have to get the wet or water on them if I can help it. I dont think I have ever wash my corvette with water ever nor do I plan to with the Mustang also. That is unless you get stuck in a rain fall and the dirt is to much to use the deatailer products.

I know it sound stupid not to want to use water if I can help it but I am one of them weird neat freaks and cant stand the tought of my cars getting wet for some reason. Oh well maybe its just me LOL.

Re: Not official wash thread.

cool product im gonna check that out. what i use to not worry about water spots is a no rinse wash from obsessive detail. u do one panel at a time and then immediately dry it so its nice and spot free. its a really easy way to wash the car and you dont have to stress so it turns into a nice relaxing experience lol.
