Here is a Corvette owner living up to the stereotype

Jalopnik - Drive Free or Die

Quote:
Lee Adams of central Florida owns 14 high-end sports cars, including a Ferrari, Mosler, Ariel Atom and a Corvette ZR1. Or he used to own a ZR1, until he had to call 911 after getting locked inside.

"The GPS told me to turn right. I thought the car would turn into a boat because I paid so much for it."

Maybe he should've got a Buick. Quick poll, when was the last time you saw someone under 50 driving a Vette?

Hey wait here I am under 50 and have a vette also LOL. My wife sold her vette last year and she is under 50 also.
Well in the end my Z06 Callaway is going to a new home in two weeks anyways time to move on to another toy I guess so you can take me off the Corvette owner list then.

Re: Here is a Corvette owner living up to the stereotype

You know the funny thing is I dont know at this time what I am going to get. At one point I was going to get a ZR1 but that is not going to happen anymore I took that out of my head.
I may just hold off for a while until one of my boats also gets bought and this way I can have some more cash to play with. I figure between the two of them selling I will have more than enough to get something nice. My wife wants to buy another vacation home I tld her no way notwith my toy money LOL.

The new owner of the Z06 is also in his 30's and we just came to a final number last weekend for 90k and if all goes as planed the bank will transfer the funds in a week or so. Then she will ship to FL to him I hope LOL.

You would think a high end car like that would be more reliable.

I have heard the old part before, but I wasn't aware that we were fat, white, and didn't know anything about cars, too.

You need to remember that it is a GM I don't even think that they have ever heard the word quality before. Also I don't trust a car that I can push in the rear bumper and watch it pop back out lol.
