I bought one once as well, it made a great parts car since I needed all the brackets for a 351w. I think thats about all they were good for. Unless you wanted to make a mad max vehicle.

OK, I gotta tell y'all. When I was in 2nd grade (yeah I know I am dating myself), my dad called home and told us he just bought a new Mustang. We waited outside and he drove up in a '74 Mustang II. I am pretty sure I cried myself to sleep that night and I will never forget that car! He only had it for about 14 months until he traded it off. So... not a car I would buy!

When restored they are awesome! Not saying I would own one but when I see and older car restored I can really respect that.

The rack and pinion is good to use on street rods, that's about it.

I love seeing the 2's. Wouldn't own one but love to see one still around. There was one at a ford show here a while back. Pristine. Silver with red velour interior. Hideous. Loved it.
