71 burnout

Hi I have a 1971 429 with the original 3 speed automatic. It also has a 3:25 rear end. Is there any technique to tearing the hides off the rear wheels? How do you do a burnout?

Re: 71 burnout

If you don't do it a lot, you'll never know the difference... If you do it a lot, it will cost you a set of rear shoes, which are not very expensive...

Re: 71 burnout

I borrowed a SSR from a local car dealership owner a few years ago to drive a foreign exchange student in a parade, I did a couple of small ones...

Our Mustangs are manuals and they don't do much burning out, they just launch...

As the owner of several cars that have gone to various proms, thank you for respecting the car that was lent to you for your prom...
