89 foxbody 5.0 5spd clutch questions

I put a new/used transmission in my lx and now the car starts without pressing the clutch in and it didn't do it before I was just wondering if its bad for the car to do that

No it is only a safety device... It doesn't hurt anything...

You may want to get that to work correct only to save you any chance of you leaving it in gear and causing damage to your car of hitting something in a leap forward hurry start.

It could save some grief, but it doesn't harm your car. It is probably better with it working correctly..

I usually always disable mine so it will start without the clutch pushed in, so yeah, as said, nothing bad will happen unless you start it in gear and hit something.

Is that what they do when you put remote start in a stick car? I never had a stick with remote start before only in my suto cars.

Wow that does not sound to good to happen in gear.
I never had much luck with remote start anyways and never end up using them to be honest.

It's a good safety mechanism. The only time it's beneficial to bypass it is if you have a remote start. Fix it.
