Sad But Happy Return Home

Well I just came back from a business trip I was on for a few days. My Z06 Callaway is gone to her new home in FL.
The two parts to the deal I made were in my garage when I came back dont know what to do with them but plan to play with them for a few days before I sell them maybe. The deal was a nice aount of cash and these two cars or my Z06 callaway.

The Benz is a 09 GL 550 with AMG package the other is a 69 Mustang conv 302 car. The Mustang is a one owner only car all orig never restored auto car. the benz i have no clue other than it moves out good from the test drive I just took her on today. I never wanted a Benz ever but this thing may have a new spot in my heart also.

It is nice, I would put a hitch on the Benz if it doesn't already, and pull the mustang. It is a nice deal. Plus you got a ford for a chevy

Re: Sad But Happy Return Home

Yea but to be honest I see both o these going up for sale real quick not my idea of toys I want to be honest. Plus I am running out of room and lifts for more toys. I may sell them both and get one real nice toy to replace the Z06.
Time will tell but I am sure I can sell the Benz at least quick hopefully.

Re: Sad But Happy Return Home

I got rid of my Z06 Callaway for 50,000 cash plus these two cars in a trade also. I dont think you need to be rich to have cars like I do its mpre hard work and being a good business owner I think.
I always have at least 2 to 3 toys in my garage at a time and thn get bored with them and move on to new ones LOL. The benz is going up for sale most likely next week I just dont feel it and I have my eye on another suprise soon also.

Thanks

I kind of was not sure about that color in a Mustang either but once I got to see it more in person it not so bad. I more took it as part of the trade due to it was a one owner car and all original also non restored.

Do you want to buy a Benz I may have one just for you LOL.

I would keep the 69 at least for a few years, even if you don't want it it is quickly gaining value.

Those are both nice Autos! I understand it's hard to part with toys and if you don't want em don't keep em! Your only keeping yourself from buying new toys. haha. Sell the Benz ASAP- if you are thinking about it. Luxury cars are dependent on a lot of things going the right direction. Right now they are selling at least here in Atlanta they are.

Re: Sad But Happy Return Home

My Callaway was a 2009 Z06 with the SC652 kit done to it its the TVS 2300 roots supercharger, honker high flow intake system and all the other Callaway parts that come with their install kit. The car was apraised for 95,000 just before I sold it all I wanted was to free up at least 50K cash plus some other trades from the buyers end. The guy that bought it really wanted my Z06 badly as you can tell he was willing to give any of his rides up plus the 50K cash.

I took the Benz out today and to my surprise I may have a buyer for it already, he is going for a loan tomorrow and if he gets approved it will be gone by the end of this week for $47,000. Then it will be time to start looking for my next toy to put next to my fox body also LOL.

Re: Sad But Happy Return Home

Yea it was a brand new 2009 Z06 I bought that was sent direct to Callaway for their complete kit package motor and body work done by them. The car only had 425 miles on it when it went to its new home.
