motor question

Does anyone kno what size motor is in a 1980 Lincoln continental I got one im about to junk out with a good block I was wondering if it would be a good block to build up for my 94 gt conv?

It's either a 302 4.9L or a 351 5.8L. The 5.8 was optional so it's just up to you to see. If the motor is in good condition you could swap it but idk how great it would be. Generally motors that old that aren't built are bulky dogs but have potential.

Well I was gonna redo it just using the block it only has 88k on the motor the car is just rusted out I thought it was the 351 but wasn't sure do u guys think its worth overhauling just the block I mean?
