Sounds amazing to me. Still gotta get a CAI, bigger throttle body, tuner and much more. But I love it.

Re: Finally got pipes

Very nice...save that t/b, put the 250 towards some gears or a tuner.

I agree. Go for the tuner and gears first.

Thanks guys! I also heard when you're doing certain mods to your car you should unplug the battery cables until you're done so the computer can recalibrate for the new mods. Is that true?

Not at all. The computer has to be programed with a tuner. The computer will always revert to the tune loaded and in your case stock. Get a sct tuner from Americanmuscle.com. It comes with lifetime tunes from Bama tuning and they actually work and a are a really nice alternative to a dyno tune that can cost you 500+

Looks nice. Add some longtubes and o/r h and i bet youll really love the sound. Id do a cai and tuner followed by gears and a posi-trac.

Make sure when you get a cai you get one that goes into the fender. Underhood style don't really keep heat out. And if your looking at just a quick snappy car don't get a posi, get some nice sticky tires for the rear. Thats what my car started a, full exhaust and intake, rear gears and 315 nitto drags and where I'm from it's almost unbeatable from light to light.

Yeah I was looking at either a MAC or BBK fenderwell intake. And I like the sct tuner, I've heard good things about them! And yeah all my friends with camaro's love my pipes. They're kinda jealous I think :p haha.

Bro you have a gt correct? No offense but your giving some bad info for a sixxer. A posi is definately a good idea. However our cars can barely get out of there own way. They dont need drag radials on a stock car. And his exhaust is also way different then an 8. Just wanted to clarify for him. But for an 8, i agree with you.

Re: Finally got pipes

Yah the v6's come with the 7.5" open differential with 3.27 gears stock.

There's no need for DR's unless: A) you're actually pushing some serious power and need to hook up on the track/street or B) you want to look cool.

I'm definitely classified under B, hell I don't need 315's to hook up..they just look badass

Lol indeed they do. That's what I've got, 315 nitto 555r. They look sexy but do make me grip and rip out of the hole. They are probably one of the more helpful things on my car but it's at a medium mod level so.
