Catback or axleback??

So my next upgrade is my exhaust! Most of you know I don't know much about cars and but I do know more about stangs and of course I'm learning from ya'll lol.

So. I'm going with the borla stingers. But should i go with an axle back or cat back? I've done a little research on them and trying to really understand the difference. I'm doing this mod before september, so I dont have a whole lot of time any advice would be great!

I would say axle back if you only want the sound. If you are going to be modding the car for more power in the future then catback. That's my opinion.

Well that's the hard part. I'm still not sure if I will keep it and pay it off and continue to mod it or if I'll trade it in on my next stang. But I take it cutback is for power and axle back is for sound only

To be honest unless you do the full exhaust, headers all the way out they are "about" the same. What I mean is not enough difference for the average to notice. Unless you have big plans for huge engine upgrades I would get the cheaper of the two so you could mod something else. But that's just me.

Makes sense. I'll probably do the axle back then. I have a tendency to not keep vehicles very long before I trade them haha and my next purchase is a Shelby so I'm probably better off that way. Thanks for the info tho
