I need help asap!

Girlfriends Subaru needs a transmission fluid change it's an 2001 legacy. Also the car seems to rev up to high Rpms on it's own Any ideas what this could be!?

it probably uses a maf sensor and probably an idle control sensor, clean both.

That is typical signs of O2 sensor replacement being needed.

Yup...mine was doing that and replaced all 4. It's cheaper to get them on line. $170 shipped to the door vice $400 from local parts store. But be prepared to have to retap the threads on the bungs. I had to do 1. Oh and be prepared to have to put heat to them to get them out. I used a propane torch to heat them.
