I don't know what to do!

Well currently I own an automatic (wish I had Stick) 03 Mustang GT and I want to put in so much parts to my car, for example: exhaust, engine performance, suspension, exterior, interior, etc., but I don't know if I should. The 03-04 SVT Cobra is my dream car, but it's really expensive for my budget. I don't know if I should put in money to my car or just save up for a Cobra. What are your opinions? Lol thanks

Yeah that's what I plan to do too, when I get a better job I'll get the Cobra lol. And yeah I read your posts when you converted to 5 speed. Great job. Well for me idk if I should put in parts cuz I know if I do, and I sell my car, I'll loose a lot of the money :/

Re: I don't know what to do!

I know that it takes alot of time to save money but think about all the money you are spending on parts. I bought a 99 cobra for $10.5 cash and it took me a year of saving and working extra to save for it. Then I saved for a KB and when I had the money for that I decided to just sell the cobra and took the combined cash and bought a S197. I then decided that I wanted a better S197 so I traded it in on a Black 07 premium and took out a small loan to cover the difference. I made sure that the payment was smaller than what I was saving per month for mods. I then busted my *** again to pay off a 4yr loan in 2 years. Now I had a $18/20k car that was mine,so I took the 07 to the dealer and made them play my game. They gave me $18k for the car and I bought a new 5.0 with a super low payment that won't break me and I can always sell or trade in without any worries because its half paid for already. All I'm saying is have a plan, stick to it and bust your *** to make your dream come true. This goes for anything in life.

GOOD LUCK!

I would slightly mod the exterior of the car to increase resale but leave the performance alone as some of us have learned you can create a headache sometimes. Save the rest of your money and when close sell the current one and get the cobra.

I'm with you on this one. Drive and enjoy your mustang the way it is and take the money that you would be putting into mods and put it in the bank. Once your able to buy a 03-04 cobra, you'll have a few thousand to put down on the car and get the car you have been dreaming about.
