Re: Answers to Ford acronym's!!!

I, personally, like "Government Motors" (GM) myself. I'd rather have a vehicle that I needed to work on (hasn't been the case with my Fords) than own a vehicle from a company that sucked so much they needed a bail out.

Also, it doesn't hurt that I've had very few repairs on the 153k miles on my Mustang GT, never repaired my 124k miles on my 2001 Mustang v-6, my high school 1997 F150 had 143k miles when I got my v-6 and passed it along to my brother and my 2004 F150 is up to 103k unrepaired miles. The following is a list of all I've had to repair due to mechanical failure on 523k miles (yes, over half a million): fuel pump on my 2001 v-6, coil on plugs on my 2002 GT, intake manifold on my 2002 GT (even though its breaking was my fault... I'll throw it on here). I also had the rear end go out of my v6, but this was following sliding off the road during a sleet storm and the cover was knocked a little lose... my fault for not noticing I suppose.

Not counting the rear end (which was damaged during the sleet incident), that adds up to... $120 fuel pump, $300 coil on plugs, $250 intake manifold. $470 worth of repairs on over a half million miles of driving. Not too bad.

Re: Answers to Ford acronym's!!!

Chevrolet= Can Hear Every Valve Rattle On Long Extended Trips.

Honda= Had One, Never Do Again

Dodge= Dear Old Dad's Garage Experiment

Ask your Chevy friends if they know what is printed on the last page of their owner's manual...... the bus schedule!

How do you double the value of a Honda? Fill up the gas tank.

Re: Answers to Ford acronym's!!!

Ashes to ashes
and dust to dust
If it wasn't for Chevys,
our tools would rust!

It doesn't matter if you,
Push it, shove it, or just let it lay, you're still stuck with a Chevrolet!

Do you know why Chevrolet put heated tailgates on their pickups?
It's to keep the owner's hands warm when they are pushing them home in the winter.

GM = Got Money, Get Mechanic, Goofy Morons, Get Mad, Get Mouthy.....

Chevy "Runs Deep"......into your pockets!

Chevy "Like a Rock"......Yep, runs, rides and drives just like a Rock!

Re: Answers to Ford acronym's!!!

GMC= Garbage Made Cheaply
Audi= Another Ugly Deutsche Invention
BMW= Bavarian Manure Wagon

Did you hear that Chevy was giving a puppy with every new Camaro sold? That's so the buyer doesn't have to walk home alone.
