I depends how dark u want it. Covers r better IMO for darker tails and spray is better for like smoking or light tint

Re: Tint spray or tail light covers

spray em. jus make sure you dont over do them. my buddies and i were sprayin a pair and we were doing it during a really sunny day and we went a little too crazy with the spray, so bad to the point the guy had to get LED bulbs in the tail lights in order to see the brake lights

Does the finish look glossy or flat?

I guess I'll have to take them to someone because I have no tools to paint with. I was hoping it came in a spray can. But it seems all those come out flat.

I haven't finished them yet. All I have to do is a wet sand to get that glossy look

Looks real good and that is the look I want but I guess I'll have to see who can do it for me. It would have been great if I could have done it with a spray can.

Depends on the laws. I sprayed mine but kept getting pulled over. I would go with vinyl.

Re: Tint spray or tail light covers

Becareful with headlight covers. I bought a pair, GTS Brand, and personally didnt think they fit my 2010 v6 well. The bottoms kept popping loose even though they had the rubber bumpers to hold them in. The company suggested using two sided tape but that meant they arent removable for night driving so I returned them.

It was rustoleum lens tint. About 2/3rds of a can. I put 4 coats on
