finally got a mustang.

I'm new to this whole customizing cars thing. I would like to start adding parts such as flow masters, cold air intakes, and a new hood with a scoop. need help getting started and where to find the best parts.

AmericanMuscle.com has a ton of great stuff at a great price. (plus free shipping) also CjPonyParts.com has a bunch of stuff.

Good luck on your Quest to to customize your ride. A CAI is probably your best bet as a starter Mod, if you've never done any modifications before. It goes on pretty simple, and you might notice a slight gain in HP.

Not really. But a good cai tuner combo from Americanmuscle.com will give you a very nice amount of power.

They say that it gives a HP increase, and being it lets more air in, maybe. But i dont think its THAT big of an increase to justify the couple hundred bucks of buying one. But as the other guy said, the CAI and Tuner combo is something you should look into, i've heard great things about tuners, especially if you have an auto trans.

Re: finally got a mustang.

the best starting place is research into the car, the right stuff to do, what works, what doesnt and all that.

Have a plan as to what you want to do and realistic goals of your outcome. This way you want waste time/money
