They have limiters for a reason because stock stuff like the driveshaft and others can't handle much more than the limiter plus when do you ever need to go faster than that

My 67 Mustang coupe. I'm sixteen and have had it for about a year. I'm about to turn 17. She's got a 351 Windsor, Mallory electric ignition, edelbrock 4 barrell 650 cfm carb, and an Edelbrock performer rpm intake. Working on saving up for ram air intake setup and 3.73 gears outback.

You could turn off the limiter and governor with a tune if you have a 1 piece driveshaft and upgraded tires

20 years old and have to have my parents cosign at 18 so I don't think anybody is buying a new Stang without straight cash from working their d*ck off or had mommy an daddy put down a signature somewhere. Be it insurance or dealer. I don't envy kids who drive new stangs. I know as well as just about everyone else driving its probably is dads on the title. But that okay as long as you are cautious and respectful of what you in and realize nobody is a perfect driver mustang camaro or Lamborghini . This being said those who got from their parents can't say they have the feeling true ownership and responsibility as a kid who earned his.

I agree. My dad paid for my car, but I have to pay him back with monthly payments starting when I turn 18.

I saved up for over 4 years and paid for mine straight out. I got it 3 days after i turned 18 (coincidence, not a present). If you look at the title of my car it has my name on it, not my parents. I've had it for less than 2 months, its a 2001 Bullitt. It was a long 4 years but it is worth it. Oh, and did all this while taking mostly Advanced Placement classes during High School.

Oh ya man it would be so unique you don't see that alot usually people put new motors in old cars it would be so sick if you put a 5.0 crate motor in it
