Is it possible...

Sorry if I sounds stupid I'm just really curious and figured you guys would know more than yahoo answers. Lol. Is it possible to put like let's say a twin screw super charger like a kb while having a vortech sc or a turbo? Is that possible or would it take crazy fabricating? Or is it just impossible?

Anything is possible, and people do run dual systems on some cars. Don't think a vortech and roots would be worth it though.

If you have the cash and want some thing different then go for it!.. But usually a compound boost set up nets you no more power than a well built motor with a good SC or turbo will!..

A lot of fab work for minimal gain with a centri/ roots compound setup IMO.

I've seen a helion turbo feeding a F1a vortech blower compound. The blower is set up for low rpm duty and the turbo with the blower for over 3800rpm. Made 780rwhp and it hita hard midrange. Jumps from 330rwhp at 3500 to over 700 by 5000. Breaks loose on full throttle in fourth. Compound boost ftmfw.

So maybe it's not such a bad idea? But I have a vortech tho. Not a turbo so would it still be easy to do?

No. Its a tuning nightmare and you need a serious blower.

The article I read said about 1000hp at the wheels!.. And the cobra was mostly stock!.. But you can still hit those same numbers on a well built car too!.. It's just some thing to be unique!..
