Im only guessing a retro throwback is something they weren't looking for because I see no resemblance whatsoever.

At least there still keeping the name alive!

Rear area (at least from the pics) looks like a g6 IMO

When I herd about this I thought it'd be a cool idea. That said it looks like its in a category with cars like an Accord.. Guess they can't all be sports cars though lol it does look a little rice to me too.

Any idea what kind of power plant/drivetrain they are planning to use? I'd guess I4 or V6's.

Re: Dodge Dart.

I think it a good marketing idea and I don't think they had any intentions of going retro. The front looks kinda Evoish. Not bad for what it is.

I was a little let down cause a friend from high school has one that's restored and hooked up with a built 360ci. Isn't really fast but it's a sweet ride.

I had a 70 A body Dart that was my daily driver about 15 years ago. Loved that car... Some of my best memories are of the neighborhood kids helping me rock it out of snowbanks and then sliding down the street. I had it painted primer black, and one of my good friends had a custom exhaust shop, so it looked and sounded mean! I was hoping the new Dart would at least acknowledge the past badassness of the old ones.... The late 60s Darts were beauties as well.
