Brakes

I keep noticing how hard it is to brake in short distances on my 98 cobra. Are all mustangs like this? Are all older mustangs like this?? Cuz I remember my 96 being the same way

IMO all GT's, Cobras etc have more HP and TQ then brakes or suspension.

I put quality ceramic pads and slotted rotors all the way around on my 94 cobra and it made a significant difference. Also, suspension upgrades that will reduce the amount of nose dive helps. Doing things such as moving weight to the rear of the car (i.e. battery relocation, lighter hood, etc) pays huge dividends in braking and handling.
