Mustang emblems

I was in a wreck about 8 years ago. To replace the side panel and lights they had to take off my mustang emblems. When they put them on they put them on backwards because the horse should always go forward not backwards. What's the easy way to pop these guys out and swap them? Thanks

I believe to pop them off, you take a hair dryer and heat up the emblems. Then gently peel them off. Im not too sure if you're able re-use them though, maybe someone else would know?

Re: Mustang emblems

fishing line and heat them up a bit with a hair dryer (not to much to mess the paint up just warm them up) wiggle the line around the area between the paint and the emblem and they should come off. Clean off all the crap fully and you can reapply some 3m tape and stick it back on.

Probably a great idea to use painters tape around the emblem and paint to protect it from getting scratched.

I know my emblems are held on by 3m double sided adhesive.. What I did to take one off was by taking a fishing line and sliding it back and forth like a saw... Cutting behind the emblem and then there will be holes in the panel where the emblem rods will be in.. So u have to saw all around it until u get to the rods that r going inside the panel holes and u should be able to pry it off
