I'm not a fan of em. I had a Saab 9-5. The dealer I got it was also a Lotus dealer. I got into it while waiting for the paperwork to be done and it was tough getting out of it. It's like sitting boxed in in a racing car where you can only climb out of the window. Just that here the opening to come out is even smaller!

It's not meant to be practical or luxurious.. Just to race! And it does that quite well

Still running the Toyota 2ZZ 1.8L. Well what is left of it. I have been on newcelica.org for about 10 years and he has a build thread he did over the entire life of the car. Us current and former Celica owners were fortunate enough to watch the build over the years.

UPDATE!! He was in a controversial accident in the Lotus.

Car is no more.

Controversial as in, he was merging, saw a Porsche in his mirror. Merged successfully. Tried to switch lanes one more time around 65 and get semi-rear ended. More like a pit maneuver by the Porsche.

He is accused of cutting off the Porsche. Which, even though he claims he did not, he had no idea where the Porsche came from. So, if you didn't see him, then you didn't see him. Meaning how could you be sure you didn't cut him off if you don't even know where he was.

So the additional controversy comes apparently on the Lotus forum where he is being bad mouthed for cutting someone off, yet some defend him since he was rear ended. Well sort of. I think the Porsche driver joined the forum? Not sure.
