Turn signal

I need some help. On my dads 05 jeep grand cherokee the turn signal won't turn off after the steering wheel goes back to center. This only happens when the signal is turning left any ideas?

Maybe whatever in the steering column that triggers it is worn? Have a manual for it?

I'm not sure I'll ask my dad and tell him to try looking at this. Thanks
