New daily driver, need help picking a car

So i commute to school and work everyday racking up those miles and wearing out my poor stang. So i decided to get another car (used mind you) as a daily driver.

Requirements are it must be rwd and standard transmision. Good/ok gas mileage is a plus.

So im thinking an early miata, 240sx or a 1995 5.0 mustang...ideas?

Btw this daily driver is eventually going to be turned into a full blown drift/race car, cage, recaros, gutted you know the works i cant do that to my new 5.0 i just dont have the heart.

Nice... I love S2000s. Only Honda I would ever drive. Well, other than the Acura NSX, it's so NSEXY.

Im sorely tempted to buy one after I get a solid paying job. They are exactly what im looking for out of a track car.

Get a 4 cyl stang and keep it in good shape. Then drop another engine and all that when it's time for it

I'm not. Haha, mustangs just dont make good lightweight, cheap track cars without a lot of money... That's when we HAVE to turn to Honda. And only their rwd cars.
