Chevys absolutley do suck

ok so my dad and i took our boat for alil test run it has a 454 big block chevy with a 750 holley double pumper with king cobra outdrive from omc and we just put the engine in the boat hooked up everything and we get to the lake and we get it running we are doin about 45-50 when we get plained out and dad backs off the gas and it backfires and quits. the engine is from a 1980 truck the original 454 Hipo Locked on us a few years ago. so anyway it wouldnt start and it barley even turned over. we had to get towed in by a pontoon boat how embarrasing. our last boat. was from 1977 and it had a stock 351 windsor with a mercruiser outdrive and the 351 was never rebuilt. we never had any problems with it at all except the battery terminals allways melted off because the battery was cheap. Ford forever

I love my Ford, but I don't think Chevy sucks. I have plenty of friends and family with them. Turbo'd chevelles to ls1's to old trucks, they all treat their owners well.

My family is a chevy family, i love american cars. Period. I may be a little more biased towards ford now that i'm in a stang, but honestly chevys are nice cars. The only thing that we've ever had a problem with on my dads van was a manifold leak, and that was a decent fix. Like every brand, you'll get a lemon once in awhile i guess.
