Coincidence? i think not.

My weekly cop encounters averaged 2-3 per week driving my loud yellow GT. since switching to a quiet 2002 stock F150 while my car is being rebuilt I have yet to even be looked at. I've sped past cops who didn't care. I was going 78 behind an Altima and a 370z last night and te cop followed us then flew by the Altima and I and pulled over the Z.

So.. Coincidence? Am I crazy in this observation or do cops actually have that big of a hard on for sports cars?

I agree, it seems like the cops do go more for sports cars. I think it mainly because we stick out more!

They have this terrible logic that goes something like this: When I was a teenager I had a car with a top speed of 80 mph do in gonna pull over anyone that has a car I really want. OR something like this: Sports cars look fast, therefore they are speeding regardless if they are going 45 in a 55 zone. That means I must pull them over for various stereotypical reasons. XD

Ive got an old minivan to drive around wile my stangs in the shop or my wife has her car out.

It's a 03 Chevy venture and I speed all day long in that thing and never even get noticed. I've flown by a cop going 57 in a 45 and nothing.

If I go 2 mph over in my GT I'll have the whole force on me in 5 seconds lol

I actually believe that because of numerous teenage guys in the 1960's were very notorious for racing more-than-average cars (sports cars) they assume we are most likely to speed. That means they watch us a whole lot closer than a minivan. I mean when's the last time you saw Nicholas Cage running from every police officer in Longbeach driving a Dodge Caravan?

Lol, the cops r probably to busy laughing there *** off watch a guy hall *** in a minivan, but hey we got to find some way to amuse our selfs in those boring cars , when I had my mustang in the shop I would use a minivan (ford) and go mess around with other vans haha
