Tennessee license plate

I live in Tennessee, and I would like to move my license plate to the front, and put my mustang tag on the back! I've seen it done before, but is this legal??

I don't believe so, tags are on the rear for vehicle identification when needed (police chases, traffic cameras, etc). So in your case they would have to be in front if you to identify your car which is completely irrelevant since you could evade easily in that position. But I won't get into all that. Not saying it is illegal but just try not to get your bubble busted when they say no.

No problem, don't worry though, pretty sure your custom tag will still be very noticeable in the front end
