1987 Nissan sentra. 5 speed 4 cylinder. Like an 0.3 liter. It was a BEAST!! 4 door, bullet hole rims! No heat, no air, no tape deck! It burnt a little oil. I had a friend that was a coal truck driver, he would steal me coal truck motor oil. Idk what weight it was but it was like molasses! It found its way around a telephone pole. Sad sad day.

It must have been a jump going from a .3L to a supercharged 4.6!
(Your shelby is 4.6L, right?)

Yep. Always 5.4. Until the 13. Mine was 500 hp at the flywheel and the 13 is 640ish. Mines creeping up there. In 07, they didn't have cai unless you got the KR edition. Mine now has that plus a few more things. Of course, there is always more on the list. Just need another job to support my mustang addiction.

All Shelby's from 07-2012 were 5.4. The SVT cobras were 4.6 from 96-04. The GTs were 4.6 from 96-2010.

Alright so those who know me know I rock a cadillac cts now. Its the 3.6L 6 Speed Standard. Well... my engine started making a loud clanking sound and sucked up all my oil. Had my mechanic come out to check on it and it will need a lot of bottom end work. Therefore im swapping in a 6.0 v8 ls motor (hate on me for using chevy/ gm, but it is easier to work with. Plus I will always love mustangs - my heart and passion). I will be bolting it up with a giant k&n and simple tune, long tube headers, x pipe no cats, and flowmaster 44s. Dumped more than likely. The transmission will be replaced with either a gto standard or camaro standard with atleast a stage 2 clutch. Basically ill be doing a v conversion and then it will still make more hp and tq. Aproximately 415 hp and then 40 more ft/lb of tq than the stock v. And im 18. My mechanic sets me up with a hell of a deal of 3.5k inc labor and he will help me part out the current engine and trans. Fun things to come within a month it should be done hopefully!

Ill be relearning how to drive a standard in this. I know how to drive a standard (obviously since its a 6 speed) but more power + s2 clutch and maybe throwing in some gears just for fun = a small relearn process

So you're putting the 6.0 in the cts?

Yhup. Its a little more aggressive than the cts v engine plus it will have more mods available and for cheaper. Short shifter will be fabbed for free by my mechanic also
