In a customers 5.0 94 mustang from my dads mechanic shop when I was 15, don't worry the guy rode in the passenger seat, he was a family friend and wanted me to learn. The hard part was gettin it to go from a stop to 1st gear, stalled a few times cuz of the stiff stage 3 clutch. After that day I practiced on cars with hydraulic clutches and learned pretty quickly. Now I'm 20 and own an 87 5.0. 5 speed w/Stage 3 Racing clutch and I drive it every day.

Really fun car to drive, I've always driven slow cars so once when we were out practicing I made a right turn and hit around 3/4 throttle and had an adrenaline rush... It may not be much to most people on here but I'm used to driving a truck that goes 0-60 in like 15-20 seconds lol, i have to floor it when getting on the freeway.

Isn't there a thread like this somewhere??

But i learned in a nissan sentra at age 7. My mom messed her shoulder up at work, so whever we had to go i would shift the gears! That was super fun back then! I think thats what kicked off me liking cars so much, been hooked ever since.

It was. It was a blue beast. Had a 350. What killed it was the burnouts. The old trans couldnt handle it any more. Started to slip and grind. Sold it for $200

Yeah but it lasted 20 years. With lots of abuse. Like ramping, and hauling *** through pastures. Destroyed many shocks and the frame

Slap some 4.10 gears and a racing clutch and you'll have to learn again! That's how it is on my new gt that pushes 320 rwhp!

Haha. Already done. Stage 2 Clutch, 3:73s, and a Pro 5.0 Short Shifter. It was a blast to learn and I still smile everytime I drive it.

Learned in my friend's twin turbo Nizmo 350Z. Had a stage three clutch and I stalled once. It was unfair. I drove it maybe tree time. Then a couple years later I bought my GT and was 3 hrs from home so had to learn how to drive it on the way back. Stalled it once that day and never since.
