Just wondering about all of you guys out there, when and in which vehicle did you learn to drive a manual?

Mine was when I was 14. It was a 2001 SVT Cobra Mustang! Now I'm 17.

Learned on my way home from the dealership in the 5.0. I stalled In front of the sales man as i was backing out. He said "you know you have to push the pedal on the left and laughed" I flipped him the bird and did a burnout out of the lot. I left nice 11's

I think I learned in an old 1980 f250 4x4 4spd when I was 16, thing was a tank even though the motor was a turd. Then I learned hydraulic clutch with my 93 4x4 splash. I bought it back in 2003 my senior year in high school which I still have to this day, I tore some mud up with that truck.

To this day my friends and people I met along the way still talk about how I never had it stuck in mud even with mud and water half way up the tailgate and the exhaust gurgling.

85 GT with t-tops, a friend if the family taught me. She asked if I had my learners yet, I said yes. She used to take me as her designated driver. Had a blast in that car. It lead me to this madness of the dark side (Ford). LOL, as my Dad is a Chevy guy. Woul like to get a 85 like it one day, along with a twin to my first LX 5.0....
