I don't like them unless you load a lot of money to add a turbo. Look into a v6 mustang, nissian maxima are nice. Honda civic if you want cheap and mpg. How much is your budget and what your goal, mpg, cheap, reliable

Correct me if I am wrong cuz this isn't my specialty, but I'm pretty sure those years came with a turbo and can be built pretty easily. Also AWD. I like em and I've got a friend who is looking to build one, don't know anything about reliability, but I've heard Mitsubishi is hard to work on.

Mitsubishi parts are high n the fwd cars are garbage. The gsx or evo r the only Mitsubishi I would own but they eat gas (less than 20mpg on 4 banger) I bought a new kia soul w/ 6-speed cheap n get almost 40 mpg on interstate for my dd. 40 mile trip for work per day

Yeah the gsx is awd turbo, that year is the second generation, imo the 1st and second gen are more guys cars and the newer ones all scream chick! If your going for reliable not so much unless you love to wrench. If u just want a cheap fun dd then your good to go, they last but when I had mine and everyone I knew with one we were always having to work on it. Its also extremely easy to catch the modding bug and potentially take away from your stang just my .02 over all very cool car

Good luck finding one that is in good shape for a decent price. Almost all of them have been modded out and ragged on.

Can't go wrong with a Subaru I'm trying to sell my Mercedes and thinking about getting a suby as a DD / winter car also. Moving back north so 2 rwd cars isn't going to do much for me in snow haha

I just sold my 11' wrx. After owning two of them (2004, 2011) I decided to get the mustang. They are definitely the way to go if you are moving up north. I was just ready for a change. They hold there value really well also.

In 04 I had a brand new STi world rally blue with the gold bbs wheels, my friend totaled it on me now that I have the GT it will be my summer / spring car and modded and I'd love to get a newer style wrx as a dd or a 04,05 wrx wagon just to be a little different
