It's funny how often Chevy comes up on this thread, but on another thread, someone say's something about Chevy, then the whole World here deside to starts Dogging Chevys Extremely, as if someone stated a "Who can dog, Chevy the most" Thread.

Haha. I dog Chevy's a lot... But I owned 2 1500's and an old Camaro before I converted. And you can't deny Chevy has an amazing muscle car heritage. Camaro's, Chevelle's, Nova's, Vette's... All amazing cars in their own right. Even if the new Camaro sucks pretty bad

I would have kept my 84 Z28 or since the GN's would be so sought after, I'd scoop up a mid 80's Monte Carlo SS.

I guess if you consider the Mustang started the pony wars, the other pony cars might not have existed. For example, GTO's might have never downsized to the Judge body style. The cutlass was also a big car before sharing the same body style as the Judges and Chevelle's. There might be a lot more Charger-like bigger cars around.

Proof that there are leaders and then there are followers.

However, without the followers, the mustang might not be as bad a** as it is today. For example a production car with more than 600 horses. Gotta love this country.

A Nissan 370z! I'm actually planning on trading my car in soon for either a 370z or a 11 or 12 Mustang GT.

Bastards laughed at me when I asked to test drive it I told them they are to tough on future GT500 owners.

Re: If Mustangs did not exist

As far as V8s go, I'd get a used Z06 Corvette if the Mustang never existed. But if I were to go with something smaller, I could see myself driving many things: a Hyundai Genesis coupe, a Subaru BRZ, a Mitsubishi Evo, a G35 Infiniti, maybe a Ford Focus, or a Mazda speed. At one point in my life, I wanted a Lotus Evora because I hear it handles like a dream.

Mustang or no, I'd eventually end up with a performance car
