Chevy vs. BMW

So i was working yesterday and "car and driver" made a magazine about the new GT500 and ZL1 and we all know the GT500 blew its doors off. And I was closing lastnight and they came out with a new one and Chevy decided to pick on the new BMW m6. I don't know about you guys but I thought that was really funny!

Haha I thought you were referring to the ZR1 corvette my brain wasn't operating on cars yet. I just finished a test, but yeah that may turn around and bite them in the ***.

Plus even from a non performance stand point I have to laugh interior fit and finish of Chevy v BMW. Haha wow

I feel like Chevy is really butt hurt right now. And they had to go against some one else cause the gt500 is an overall better car. Expect for the road course... but who the hell takes their car out to the road course every day? Really Chevy grow up.

When Chevy came out with the ZL1 they had put a handling package , supercharger and all this crap with I think 580 HP , and ford just crushed there dreams when they came out with the 2013 Shelby GT500 with 650 HP with a top speed of 200 mph (wasn't confirmed but they got it up to like 189 but didn't have a dought that it could reach 200 ) ford has just been on there game with every thing , the Eco boost F150 , eco boost Taurus , the mustangs , they all have been off the charts ! . I wonder if BMW even knew they where going to have to compete with chevy ?

I agree w all that has been said... but road course is where the true driver/car race takes place IMO... I think the only way the zl1 beats a BMW on a turn course is by having the upper hand n the straights...

I like the ZL1. Think it's pretty badass. But it wouldn't be my top choice and I'd probably take that M6 over it because it is just one sweet car! Although I like the 3 and 5 a bit better. I'll take it in jet black btw

Funny thing is that the X5M is a 5500 lb SUV that can do 0-60 in 4 seconds. Wouldn't that be a fun race to watch. Get spanked by a vehicle almost twice your weight. Still, these two vehicles are faster.

Lol, We're hoping to hit the Topeka track before the end of the year to find out who has bragging rights. However, I know he's going to stay stock for a bit cause he got a steal on a 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty. So he's waiting for me to pass him then he will kick it up a notch.

That's weird me and my buddy were talking about going to the Topeka track last night! Oh, and I did buy lowering springs that are getting installed Wednesday.
