Ok here is a pic of what my scanner says.it says its retarded and I'm beginning to believe so!

After some research I believe its one of the following parts.

Vct or vct solenoid, cam sensor, crank sensor, or timing belt.

I think they can all throw the timing off. And my timing is definitely off! It's hard to start. The idle will fall really low and bounce up and down. And I have a noticeable loss in power in the upper rpms.

Now the funny thing, if I reset the memory it will idle fine for a bit. I haven't determined the point to where it gets worse. But I think after I shut it down and go to restart. But idk.

If it matters, I know the vct works from oil. I do have a small leak around the solenoid if that matters any?

That's all I got. And if anyone knows anything about these bad boys feel free to hop in with any advice or pointers. I don't have a book yet but I will be getting one. And also no one carrys the vct solenoid(which I suspect most). So I will have to wait til Monday from ford for pricing. The cam and cranks sensors are really cheap so I may just throw them on there for 15$ each.

Help and thanx....
