Yes they are good for some AutoX!.. But smoke a modded GT around a road course!.. Doubtful at best!..

+11. Not to mention that modding a S2K will cost you an arm and a leg, and all for minimal gains!..
Do some research dude..
Again 50/50 weight balance!.......!......!

I've been beaten by a civic at the track. He ran a 11.4.

It was also trailered to the track and completely gutted. I drove to the track and back with the top down listening to the radio.

What rpm range do you use on any track?
Road racing is all about corner speed.

Ya but when you start throwing mods into the mix, it becomes more about who has deeper pockets and less about the origins of the car itself!.. Case and point, a Smart car that was modded to outrun a Ferrari!..

Ok first off AutoX on a small course is more about corner speed!.. On a real road course you need a lot more than just that!.. I have a buddy with a 2005 Mustang V6 outrunning these on Road Courses!..

And as far as what rpm range I use?.. I know I don't have to spin my car up to 8,000 rpms just to get into my power band!.. Our cars put out more Low End torque than these things put out all together!.. 160lbs at over 7,500rpms?!?... What a joke!.. And by the way that's the last couple of years!.. The first ones only had 150lbs but at the same rpms!..

The other day my wife had some friends over, one of them drives a civic, and of course it's all riced out... My son and I came home and he saw the Honda parked in the driveway. Once we stepped in the house, without skipping a beat, my 4 year old asks out loud "whose gay Honda is that?!" Proudest moment of my life.

I can only hope that if I ever have a son he will say those very words.

I hate ****ers who don't understand engines. You think Ford built V8 mustangs because it needed them to make power? Any manufacturer can build a high output, forged, turbo 4 banger that will last long enough to cover a warranty. Ford put the V8 in the stang because it sells, gets decent mileage (look at the mileage you get from a evo or sti), sounds great, and is reliable. You can boost anything if need be. You want to talk import V8 look at their trucks. Not brain surgery. Oh, and take your bull**** question to a Honda forum. Find fanboys.
