Cocky friends

Does anybody know of a drag strip or race track where I can race my friends because they are all cocky and I don't want to get into trouble street racing. Somewhere near northern NJ.

I know a cocky guy

He owns a g35 and says it has a v10 lambo engine in it
He showed me a pic of the car, and I said cool! Show me a pic of the engine bay, and he said I don't have one.
I told him " who the hell has that engine and doesn't have a pic of it"
He was lying his *** off
And he was " grounded" so he couldn't get a pic anytime this week.

Sorry, I just saw cocky friends and had to vent

Well of course he's grounded, he has a car with a V10 lambo engine in it. His parent's must have given him a stern talking to after he broke the sound barrier.

I have a friend with a RX-8 that swears he can outrun me, and his only mod is exhaust. It just sucks because I have to keep putting him off because I think the bushings in my rearend are bad. It sways when it's under a load. So I don't wanna mess anything up. Lol.

I used to have a bunch of cocky "friends" but I eventually left them all (in my dust), both literally and figuratively!.. But I have sense decided to not hang around the "ricer crowed" and just stick with the Muscle crowed!.. At least the Muscle crowed around here don't over talk and over play their rides!. Most of them are actually very modest about what they have!..

My dad and I built a Mazda miata with a Chevy vortec, it is pushing 350hp. A lot of the kids at my school where making fun of it because it is so small and I'm so big. But they all shut up when I got the gt even though it doesn't even compare to the miata, when it runs. It pulled the high torque starter out of the block. Lol, whatever.

I think a miata with 350 hp would have traction issues :p

There are quite a few cocky guys here at my school. Except they have the money to back it up! 3 M3s, a cls63 amg that one swears its his but only brings his X5, some modified cars ( one being a Mini Cooper with 300 hp?). A stasis s5, more s series Audis then a g37 , a porche cayman s, and that's about it. In the end, no one really has bragging rights.

Modesty will lead to self worth.
Cockiness will lead to embarrassment.

Depends on the colbalt because my boyfriend has 2005 cobalt SS supercharged and at the track he's very low 12's almost in high 11. And he only has exhaust, CAI, smaller pulley, and injectors with a dyno tune. Car is very light

Pfft, no way a kid can buy a gti let alone an m3 with their own cash. I earned 2500 working at the SeaHunter boat factory all summer. I think they buy their own mods and gas though.

That's why I take so much pride in my Cobra. Not to brag, but I paid for it. In cash. And it has my name on the title. It means a lot more to me instead of my mom and dad buying me something. Just saying.

My parents paid for the car and left it at that
I pay for insurance and gas :/
They help out sometimes. Like they'll knock 100 off insurance
