Doing tune ups on them are a total B****!... Also if your thinking of modding it, it is pricey as hell!.. But they are quick!.. Personally I wouldn't, I just think they are to ugly!..

my coworker had a wrx...had a turbo and made 220 hp....still lost to my stock GT every time. he spent probably 3 grand on the suspension too making sure it stuck to the road lol.

btw a tune up on that thing costs more then doing a decent bolt on for a 99-04 mustang lol

I don't like the hawk eyes. The front end doesn't do it for me. But the 04-05s look dope!! Best motor in em to! I like the 08-and ups to. But good luck. I'd pick a termi for sure over the 07 sti

Had a friend that had a WRX. It is an amazing car and it's very easy to just fall in love with. But lots of problems if it has mods, and very costly in almost every aspect. WRX is my dream car though. So you have to think if it's worth the time and money. Because it'll take a lot of both.

Yeah 200 a month sounds about right. Pretty sure that's what mine friend's was. But he got rid of it because of money and bought a Teg.

I had a WRX TR with a Turbo back exhaust, Cobb shifter, and a Tune. Beat alot of new edge mustangs with bolt ons. Ran 13.20's but the weak link is the transmission. Mine
brook 3rd gear and they wouldn't warranty it, " Bastards" still agreat car.

I just bought a 2002 2.5RS Impreza and it's a great car, although with 165hp
I yearn for more...

---------- Post added at 09:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:05 PM ----------

I wouldn't buy anything older than the 06' with the 2.5l
