Ford lighting question

I was looking at ford lighting for a new dd it was a 01 with 40k miles but had a good list of expensive mods. The only thing is that the guy admitted to changing the pully but said the truck is still in stock tune. I was under the impression you had to retune for a pully swap, am I wrong?

I would run away from it. No telling what might be damaged.

The story was he went through a divorce and his wife wanted the truck so he just wanted to get rid of it, seemed a little far fetched but hey I can dream

That's the most common story I hear for hiding something about the car to pull you in. Stay away from the guy. Lol.
