2010 Mustang

Does anyone know what "alock/aunlock" setting is for on the dash of a 2010 mustang?

I will put some pictures on here tomorrow if I can remember to. Lol turn your car to just the on position where your car isn't running but your radio and air conditioner will and press the little stick 3 times I think, if yours is like mine it should change from "trip a" to "trip b" to "alock on" or if you hit it again it'll go to "aunlock off."

Well thas what I thought it might be but I set if on "alock on" then went down the road and the doors never locked so I changed it to the "aunlock off" and tried it again but the doors never locked. But I'm probably just not doing something right lol
